On Sunday in super weather and excellent golf course conditions it was the men's Club Championship where over 70 competitors played for the Sir John Drughorn Trophy. This is a 36 hole medal competition for both home and away players. The winner of the Trophy this year was Tom Naylor with excellent scores of 66 and 68 nett beating Club Captain Howard Thornton into second place with 71 and 67 nett and in third place was Martin Farrow with 74 and 66. The Scratch Cup for the day was won by Danny Western with a gross 72 and 70.

On Monday the club held it's annual Junior Open where junior players from across the area play for the The Ralph Moffitt and West Cup. The Ralph Moffitt Cup was played for by junior boys and was won by Harvey Fisher with a nett 68. The West Cup was played for by Junior girls and was won by Lilia Copeman with a nett 68

On Wednesday the ladies played their EG and Divisional Medal competitions. The winner of Division one was Jayne Standen with a nett 69 from Pauline Phillips in second place with nett 70. Division 2 winner was Jayne Needham with a nett 70 from Maggie Hart in second place with a nett 73 on count back. In Division 3 the winner was Leigh Denny with an excellent nett 67 from Rosemary Hodgkin in second place with a nett 74.

The Thursday midweek stableford results were as follows: Division 1 - first, Steven Hall with 38 points on count back from Matthew Gee. Dvision 2 - first, Bradley Thomson with a super 45 points from Terence Woolnough in second place with 41 points. Division 3 - first, Chris Barford with 41 points from Ashley Harrison in second place with 40 points.
